2 Bedroom House in El Camino Village, Gardena

Come stay at a quiet neighborhood that we have chosen to raise our family in! Due to family reasons, we are currently living in Japan, but plan on moving back one day. In the meantime, we are renting it out for others to also enjoy a nice relaxing stay while travelling in the Socal area.
Our home is conveniently located southwest of downtown Los Angeles, and only a 20 min taxi ride from LAX. It is a relatively safe neighborhood, where I often took my kids for walks around the block in the afternoon. There is a super market and 7-11 within walking distance (8 min).
You can also enjoy a leisurely walk down to Alondra park to enjoy the view. Be sure to also check out the Splash Pad and skate park when you are there. If you are a golf fanatic, the Alondra Golf course is a 18 hole par 3 course which is right next to the park.
If you need to go out further, there's also easy access to public transport. To get on the Metro, it is a 5 min walk to the bus station, 15 min ride on the bus to get to the Metro Crenshaw Station. The Metro can take you up to Hollywood for some sightseeing or out to Santa Monica to enjoy a stroll along the beach.
Our home is a cozy house with 2 bedrooms, and 1 bathroom. The kitchen has all the essentials to cook a meal at home. In the living room we have a 55" smart TV with Netflix. There is also a table for you to setup your mobile workstation. 300Mbps internet connection connected to Linksys Velop Mesh routers provide fast internet anywhere in the house.
My brother is helping us manage the property and will be in the detached garage in the backyard and available to take care of any issues you might have.

Summary: Overall the stay was alright. My friend and felt safe in the neighborhood. Certain things weren’t available that would have been nice to have like trash bags for the trash can and paper towels or napkins. There was absolutely no door, dresser, or closet space with hangers for my clothes in one of the bedrooms off the kitchen. Water leaked from that bedroom’s ceiling annd I had to place a towel on the floor to soak it up as it dripped all night during the rain. And the door to the backyard from that bedroom was unlocked, posing a potential security risk. The hot water in the bathroom sink didn’t work. The waste basket was completely cracked down one side and broken. This home should have been taken off of the rental until some of the repairs were done. The couch in the living room was quite uncomfortable and should be replaced.

Summary: Needed a spot for weekend business trip and Rams game. Nice small house. 2 bedrooms. Small kitchen fully equipped. Washer and dryer. Great for short weekend stay. Nothing fancy, but exactly what I needed for a solo trip. Large smart TV in the living room. Good wifi. Large backyard, fire pit and grill. Neighborhood near Marine and Crenshaw was nice and safe. Neighbors were friendly as well. Would definitely use again for a short solo or couple's trip. Host helpful and easy to contact and responsive.

Summary: Met our needs. Clean and well stocked Nice neighborhood. Communication with host was good. We could not get the furnace turned on but eventually used an alternate heat source. Good location for the three sports venues we attended.

Summary: I have enjoyed my mini vacay staying in this lovely vrbo the host is very accommodating and reponsive and the neighborhood is quiet. The place is nice and neat and the fans provided the right amount of air needed for the heat! I definitely see myself staying here again 🙂

Summary: 45 mins to downtown LA And hollywood (the distance is small but the traffic is busy!) Suited our needs well. Great to have washer/drier on our road trip... the lounge kitchen and bedroom 1 were all perfect. Bedroom 2 needs some attention/redecoration but we were informed of this the day before our arrival. Its a good place to.stay for 2 or 4 people, and only 30 mins to.disney in good traffic.
